Joining the Late-A-Thon!

Destiny @ Howling Libraries in her infinite wisdom is starting a “month-long readathon from January 1st to 31st dedicated to working on overdue review copies and ARCS!” If you’re interested in joining, check out her original post here.

I decided to join in not because I have a ridiculous number of ARCs but because I was caught unawares by how quickly NetGalley approves and the fact that they approved everything I requested. Some of mine have been published already, but I’m still going to review them as soon as possible. The Late-A-Thon will make sure I catch up on the 2019 ones, and then I can move forward with a more strategic request plan!

Here’s my list:

  • Athena’s Champion by David Hair & Cath Mayo. Publish Date: 08 Nov 2018 (The archive date for this one is actually December 14th, so I need to speed read this baby!)
  • How to Fracture a Fairy Tale by Jane Yolen. Publish Date: 15 Nov 2018 (About halfway into this one, and it’s excellent.)
  • Belle: Beast Hunter by Dave Franchini, Bong Dazo. Publish Date: 15 Jan 2019 (This one is a graphic novel, so it will be read on time!)
  • Unmarriageable by Soniah Kamal. Publish Date: 15 Jan 2019
  • In the Neighborhood of True by Susan Kaplan Carlton. Publish Date: 09 Apr 2019

I can do this challenge! I plan to finish the first two this month, and then the remaining three will be knocked out in January. If I have requested others and get approved before January, I’ll add those to the list as well. Yay for productivity!

Happy reading, y’all!
